The Director Message of Minnesota Chinese Health Center (MCHC)

Founded in October 2004, the Minnesota Chinese Health Center (MCHC) is the first Chinese volunteer clinic in the Twin Cities. Staffed by licensed volunteer physicians specializing in both Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine, MCHC provides free medical services to uninsured and underserved patients. Over the past 20 years, we have served thousands of community members, earning the deep gratitude of the families we served.

As we celebrated our 21st anniversary in 2025, MCHC evolved to meet the growing needs of our community by enhancing our service model. We are proud to announce a strategic partnership with Hadi Medical Clinic, a fellow longstanding free clinic in the Twin Cities.

This collaboration combines MCHC’s expertise in medica specialty care and Traditional Chinese Medicine with Hadi Medical Clinic’s robust primary care and their access to high-quality laboratory and imaging services. Together, we serve as a vital safety net for immigrant and low- income populations, ensuring every patient receives holistic, compassionate care that honors their heritage.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the local organizations and volunteers who have supported MCHC throughout the years. As we embark on this new chapter, we look forward to your continued support in helping us build a healthier future for our community.
